Breakdown Issues You Really Want to Avoid on the Road

The most inconvenient RV breakdowns are VERY inconvenient.  Here are some common breakdowns that can cause significant inconvenience and frustration for RV owners:

  1. Engine failure: This is one of the most significant breakdowns that an RV owner can experience. If the engine fails, the RV will not be able to move, and the owner will need to call for a tow truck.
  2. Flat tire: A flat tire can occur at any time and can be dangerous if it happens while driving. RV owners should always have a spare tire and the necessary tools to change it.
  3. Electrical system failure: RVs rely heavily on their electrical systems to power appliances, lights, and other devices. If the electrical system fails, the RV's battery may die, and the owner will not have access to these amenities until the issue is resolved.
  4. Plumbing issues: RVs have complex plumbing systems that can be prone to leaks, clogs, and other issues. These problems can result in a loss of water pressure or even flooding.
  5. Air conditioning failure: RVs rely on their air conditioning systems to keep the interior cool during hot weather. If the air conditioning fails, the interior can quickly become uncomfortably warm, especially during the summer months.
